A little blog to put up all my random stories that I make and any pictures or quotes I've found at anytime as well as the passing thoughts that I have.

Working like clock work
'Use your time wisely' my mother used to say, as if clocks and time helped me live my life. As a watchmaker she spent a lot of time fixing watches and she learnt how their owners lived, the owners of broken glass watches lived hectic lives and would run around helplessly, the owners of water-damaged watches were forgetful and clumsy people but most of all she knew the owners of watches that stopped without reason lived lives in their own bubble not caring about anyone as if time stopped itself for them.'When you grow up I hope you look after yourself well, I'm only here for you and I devote my time to raising you'. She could do nothing but observe and before long she became a tired and old woman. She'd still work fixing the watches until one day she stopped dead in her tracks. She had left a note beside her 'I told you time would tell, open my cardigan to see all' dumbfounded I did as I was told to see clockwork no longer moving within her chest. I brushed my hand against the cold metal pieces and vowed to live my life to the fullest. My mother was a clock and I was her time keeper.
Futuristic and out of this world? Maybe not.
Aqua.
2042, the year we became seniors of Clocspeacosta High, watching her from afar became to troublesome after a couple of weeks so i started talking to her after that we became great friends. Just as she walks past my class, she looks in and her eyes, the same shade as her name, shine brightly as they glisten from the two suns. Her hair swishes as she walks down the corridors and enter her classroom. If only she'll look at me.
I go to my seat and stare through the window, I've been looking at the same flower for the past week, every time I sit here. It's blue center and its Yellow petals all remind me of her. The physics teacher just walked in, so i guess i can sleep.
I awake to find long blonde hair flowing over my head. I look up and find her smiling down at me. "We all know you are an ace at physics but you can't fall asleep, its rude to the teacher" She steps back and leans on the chair behind her. "Aqua, what are you doing here?" My voice quivers as I say her name and she giggles "No reason, is it against Clocspeacosta law to see a friend?" She tilts her head and her hair falls to the side like a waterfall. Subconsciously I reach out at her hair and caress it. "...Silky"
She blinks, and leans down towards me, I tilt my head upwards, this time she must have seen me as a guy, and she headbutts me. Embarrassed I put my head back on the desk "why, ugh..." I mumble into the table. I turn my head and look out the window to see the news blimp with news that a new hand phone has taken the technology word by storm. "Tch, what so amazing about that!" She tugs my hair "You gonna walk me home or what?" I get up and pick up my bag. We walk out together, her holding my bag strap as usual.
"Ar!" She calls as we leave the building "Can we go to get something to eat today?" I nod and continue walking, about half a mile gone i stop and turn to her. She looks shocked and confused. " I have a really important question to ask you" she tilts her head in a questionable manner. " If I, metaphorically speaking, were to say i like you what would you say?" She stammers "I-I think that it wo-would be pretty good to go out ah erm metaphorically speaking of course" I cant believe it this maybe my shortest ever love story but do crushes come with a use by date?! This is my chance!
I grab her by the shoulders "Aqua, I like you, a lot and i don't mean like how a bee needs flowers but like how the emerald rivers need the Ruby Riverbanks, okay I'm not making sense but just go out with me" She twirls her hair and looks at me dead in the eyes and steps closer. "Of course i will silly! Argo you're really dense sometimes" She tip toes and leans her head towards me, this time I'm ready for the hit, but she kisses me on the lips and skips way. I go bright red, maybe i wasn't quite ready for that. " Argo make sure you're prepared for the physics exam next week, it'll be really awkward if you got it wrong!" She beams at me and continues to skip home.
I squat down to the floor, drop my bag and let out a sigh of relief..."finally".

Quick story I was asked to do.
I stopped.
I stopped believing that I could carry on smiling and laughing without a care in the world.
Its 1899, December 31st, and it is tonight I shall leave this town without a trace and never see my family again. I'd packed my bags, shined my shoes and set off down the icy road. Its time for me to see the world a little a bigger and now I shall believe that the sky is the limit.
I cross the road and step on to the kerbside, I carry on out of the town's boarder and notice a small white fox laying at the side of the riverbed. I walk towards the shivering creature and wrap it in my scarf, I walk a little forward towards the nearest wall and lay it out. It stands majestically for a small being and bows its head in a thankful manner and walks away.
That was the first time I'd seen a white fox in my life and I guess it shall be the last, I continue walking forwards. It's becoming dark really quickly so I quicken my pace to avoid staying out for too long. I come across a mysterious man sat on a bench, wearing a light beige suit and long white hair. I slow down to see him lift his head, and his eyes meet mine. It felt as if he was looking straight at my soul, I shivered but as I continued walking i felt as if I was being drawn towards him. I freeze, right before him, standing there keeping eye contact. He grabbed my hand, it may have been an unlawful action but I felt my heart skip a beat.
He tips of his hat and introduces himself "I am John Silver and you are my savior I shall forever be grateful" He kisses my knuckles and stands." I notice you need a place to stay and I guess you'll be looking for a dream to pursue?" Stunned, I nod my head and follow his lead to a nearby cabin. He stops to unlock the door and pulls me inside.
The room has no description, its as plain as vanilla but all the more enticing when he's in it. He drops his coat and hat on the chair and sits on the floor beside the fireplace he pats beside him and i obediently sit down.
"Why am I your savior " I timidly question the graceful man sat beside me. He looks at me and says in a whisper "You didn't even know who i was, but you helped me immediately" I blink confused by his answer but i don't question further. I lay down, warmed by the fire, I look up to find him staring at me " I should tell you something important about dreams, they can be obtained but then you shall have nothing else to do, take life as an dream and float along with the laughter and merriment and you should live a fulfilled life." In awe I stare back at him, he leans in and kisses me "Another important thing is that I love you." I feel my eyelids becoming heavier and i drop asleep.
I wake up, its the 1st January 1900, the light shines through the windows. I sit up and stretch to find white fur around me and a piece of paper beside me. I read it and i lay back down and stare up at the ceiling.
'Contradict life and live out your fantasies and dreams! The turn of the century has been great with you. I love you'
If he had truly loved me he would tell me answers to the questions swirling round my head. Who was he?, What was he?, Why is there white fur and why did he leave without a trace leaving the cabin empty?
